Beautiful fabrics and exquisite decoration are the main element of Pat Hodgkinson's purses, totes and bags. Machine embroidery or appliqué enhance the theme of the fabric.
Digital photography plays a part. Roses and other pretty images are printed on to fabric, embellished with embroideries and incorporated into some designs.
Little girls can enjoy taking a favourite doll on a sleepover using a fold-over bag which has space for nightie and toothbrush, but more importantly a complete dolly's bed.
And babies are not forgotten. Many have had fun learning to recognise the variety of embroideries on Pat's innovative play blankets. Sewn from colourful fleece, blankets are backed and bound with pre-washed figured cotton. Hardwearing and fully washable, many play blankets are passed on to a younger child when the original owner is ready to part with it.
