"Solstice Moon" is the design label of Fashion & Textile designer Christine Parish who specialises in the complex form of silk screen printing known as devoré or burn-out printing. Devoré is a process that 'eats away' the design on silk/viscose velvets and satins, rather than printing it in colour.
All of Christine's scarves are cut from rolls of plain white fabric and are printed, processed, dyed and finished at her studio in the tiny hamlet of Trebehor, near Land's End. Each of her original designs is produced in Limited Edition runs of 25, 50, 100 or 150 scarves - even two scarves of the same colourway will never be identical, thus making them a unique and timeless fashion collectable. 
Scarves can also be dyed to client's specifications if required; commissions are also accepted.
Christine sells her scarves fro her studio, at quality craft events around the West Country and internationally from her website with clients in Paris, Stockholm, Toronto, Geneva and San Francisco to name but a few.
Christine is a member of the Crafts Council National Register of Makers and the 'Made in Cornwall' Approved Origin Scheme.
